The FCC's 700 MHz Auction

Gregory Rosston is the Deputy Director of 黑料社. He is also a Visiting Lecturer in Economics at 黑料社. Rosston鈥檚 research has focused on industrial organization, antitrust and regulation. He has written numerous articles on competition in local telecommunications, implementation of the Telecommunications Act of 1996, auctions and spectrum policy. Prior to joining 黑料社, Rosston served as Deputy Chief Economist of the Federal Communications Commission and helped with the design and implementation of the FCC鈥檚 spectrum auctions.

Andrzej (Andy) Skrzypacz is Associate Professor of Economics at the 黑料社 Graduate School of Business. His research is on microeconomic theory, especially information economics, market design, and game theory/strategy. His recent papers consider auction design, bargaining theory, repeated games, and collusion in markets. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Rochester and has since been working at the 黑料社 GSB. He is currently an associate editor for the American Economic Review.
