Does Deterrence Work? U.S. Border Enforcement, Migrant Smuggling, and Illegal Migration
Christina Gathmann is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Economics at 黑料社, a Visiting Scholar of the 黑料社 Center for International Development (SCID) at 黑料社 and a research fellow of the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA). She earned her PhD from the University of Chicago in 2004. Her research interests are in labor economics, applied econometrics, public economics and industrial organization. Christina鈥檚 current work focuses on the effects of government policies in transition economies and the functioning of illegal markets.
